Plays an inaudible tone so Bluetooth headphones don't cut off short beeps.
Tone
No sound? Make sure the phone isn't on silent and the volume is up. Headphone volume is set separately from speaker volume. With a Sound sensor on, some phones play beeps through the earpiece.
Every trigger, count, manual change, start, stop and app switch is timestamped, with the sensor and counter it came from. Reset starts a new session in the log. Clear log deletes all rows.
Auto-set listens for 10 seconds. Run at least one machine cycle during it.
New triggers are ignored for this long. Set it a little under your fastest cycle time.
After a trigger inside the band, hold the count this long, measured from the start of the trigger. If a peak past the limit arrives in that time, the trigger is dropped. Counts land after the wait.

Examples: add 5 per trigger for a 5-cavity mold, subtract 1 per trigger for a scrap bin, or add 1 every 2 triggers for a machine that thumps twice per cycle.
Averages the signal over time. Raise it when one cycle makes a burst of jagged spikes instead of one clean peak. Too much delays and flattens peaks.
Axis
Set the phone flat on the machine or stick it to a panel that moves with the cycle.
How much a pixel must change to count as motion. Raise it if light flicker causes counts. Mount the phone so it can't move.
ColorCount when
Drag a tight box around the lamp. Picking its color ignores other light changes.
Sound signature
Counts when live sound matches recorded examples of a full cycle, like a hiss, clunk and whir in order. Tap Record just before a cycle starts and again after it ends. 3 to 5 examples works best. Silence at either end is trimmed.
Background sets the threshold above the best false match. Record the room with the machine idle or off, up to 20 seconds.
Speed tolerance
How much faster or slower a cycle can run than the recorded examples and still match.
Counts land when the signature ends, so logs include a backdated signature start time.
Listens for 10 seconds while you run at least one cycle. Finds the machine's loudest distinct frequency, then sets the band and threshold.
Learn against background
Record the room without the machine, then record machine cycles. Picks the frequency where the machine stands furthest above the background. Tap to start, tap to stop, 20 seconds max each.
